Legal Essay Competition on Sports Law Reforms

Amity Law School, Noida is organizing a Legal Essay Competition on Sports Law Reforms titled, "Does the National Sports Bill 2013 assert Government responsibility? If not, what changes are suggested and why?" on 22/01/2014 at 11 am and a Group Discussion Competition for the top 10 essays on 22/01/2014 at 2.00 pm. Participation Certifications would be given to all and cash prizes for the winners.

Director's Message

Respected Sir/Madam,

Competition on law reforms as an innovative mode of clinical legal education can effectively expose law students not only to the gaps and inadequacies in existing laws but also enable them to grasp the different over-lapping statutes and constitutional provisions. This would also stimulate their inventive capacity to come up with new concepts worthy of legislative introduction.

It gives us immense pleasure to invite your prestigious institution to participate in the Third Amity Competition on Law Reforms. The event is scheduled to be held from 22^nd January to 24^th January, 2014. The event will be organized at the Amity Law School, I-2 Block, Amity University, Sector-125, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

The issue for the competition is based on reforms in the field of Sports Laws. The meet would test the students on their awareness regarding Sports Laws and their ability to frame an exhaustive code to govern the same. It is a unique concept wherein students exercise their skills in framing a proper Bill along with Statement of Object and Reasons.

I extend my best wishes and warm welcome to all the participants of this competition. The Organizing Team of our Law School is committed to make this grand event a success as to leave cherished memories for future.
